Apple Leisure-Mark Travel merger completed: Travel Weekly
Apple Leisure Group and the Mark Travel Corporation on
Tuesday completed their merger. The combined company
is entirely under the Apple Leisure Group name.
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The companies announced the merger on April 2.

Impressions, CheapCaribbean.com, AMResorts, Amstar, Worldstar and Unlimited
Vacation Club. They also now include the former Mark Travel brands of
Funjet Vacations, Southwest Vacations, United Vacations, Blue Sky Tours, My
Destination Wellness and Mark International. Mark Travel’s sister technology
company, Trisept Solutions, is also now part of Apple Leisure Group.
“We see only upsides for travel agents as a result of
our two companies coming together as we will be able to help them better
understand their customers’ needs, manage their suppliers and increase productivity,”
stated Bill La Macchia, Jr., who will continue leading Trisept Solutions and
will serve as a member of the board of directors of Apple Leisure Group.
