Assassin's Creed Odyssey Fast Travel: How to Fast Travel
How to Fast Travel in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey offers one of the largest maps seen in the franchise. With tons of new content to explore, enemies to fight, and loot to find, this game will have you combing over every part of the map with a fine tooth comb. Odyssey takes your journey to the mystical lands of Ancient Greece. Of course, you’ll want to be able to move quickly around Greece, so you’ll need to know how to fast travel. Here’s how to fast travel in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.
There are plenty of secrets to uncover as you traverse these areas by land or sea. Climbing to the top of a high viewpoint is a staple in the Assassin’s Creed franchise and is featured in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. In fact, this is how you unlock fast travel points across the map. At first, it’s important to cover all of your ground by foot as to try and uncover all of the world around you, but to also soak in the beautifully crafted world. Fast travel will become important though as you begin backtracking and trying to complete some of the collectibles around Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.
Once you’ve climbed to the top of an eagle location you will need to synchronize with it just like in previous installments. When you’ve synchronized with the location you will have unlocked the ability to fast travel to it. Anytime you go to that icon on the map it will be green and you simply hold square to initiate it.
This is also true for your ship in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. You can fast travel anytime you’re not in combat, or near a dangerous foe. This will make things significantly easier when traversing the enormous map for a second or even third time while trying to complete side quests, collectibles, or finding hidden areas.
