GVB hosts Korean Air travel agency heads
The Guam Visitors Bureau recently hosted a Korean Air VIP Familiarization (FAM) Tour for the chief executive officers of Korean Air’s major travel agencies. The FAM tour was held from March 14 to 17. Participants visited some of Guam’s world-class facilities and attractions while experiencing the island’s håfa adai spirit and CHamoru culture.
“We are grateful to have been selected as the host destination for Korean Air’s CEO FAM Tour. This tour was a great opportunity to showcase Guam’s accommodations and experiences that highlight the island as a world-class destination of choice for affluent travelers,” said GVB President and CEO Nathan Denight. “We thank Korean Air for their commitment to Guam and look forward to their continued partnership.”
During the FAM tour, the participants held a golf tournament at LeoPalace Resort. They also attended a variety of tours and were hosted in a welcome reception at the Fish Eye Marine Park and farewell fiesta at the Lotte Hotel Guam.
Bartley Jackson, the chairman of GVB’s Korea Marketing Committee, thanked the airline and its partners for their part in Guam welcoming more than 680,000 visitors from Korea last year – a new record.
“We hope more Korean travelers choose Guam as their next destination and experience what our beautiful island has to offer,” Jackson said.
