This photo was taken in Gallipoli, Italy in the province of Lecce. These guys were happy enough for me to take their picture while they worked away fixing their fishing nets. I thought this photo was really interesting as all the people in the shot are doing different things with the same goal in mind... getting ready for the next fishing trip.

Photo I recently took while holidaying in Rarotonga. The lens sphere is a fun photography aid. This was just taken using a smart phone but captures everything about the islands.

At the end of a days skiing at Ohau, before the scrumptious meal at Ohau lodge, we went to the lake side beach. We sat by a fire before the stary winters night set in. Nothing better.

Walking back to our hotel in Xian, after dinner in the Muslim quarter, we passed the drum Tower (there is also a bell Tower) where the lighting took the features of the building to another level.

There are many beautiful lakes in Canada. This must be one of the most picturesque. Lake Maligne is just out of Jasper in Alberta and takes its name from the river that drains it.

While driving along the western side of Iceland, my friend and I saw a few photos of this church on Instagram so knew we had to visit it. This little black church near the town Búðir is set along the rugged coastline and makes for a gorgeous setting! It was incredibly cold and windy that day but it was well worth it for this photo!

I took this gorgeous photo last Saturday at Glenorchy, Central Otago. Glenorchy is a small settlement at the northern end of Lake Wakatipu, about 45 km by road or boat from Queenstown.

The ‘Cut’ in Nelson on a moody Friday afternoon at 5pm. Seconds before a seal had been ‘rounding up’ his dinner and I thought I could get a photo but this ‘moment’ appeared.

We were in Honolulu recently when a hurricane warning was declared. The local businesses made preparations including sandbags and tape on the windows. In the event the storm weakened and changed course, so the only real effects were reduced transport services and closed shops. Still had a great holiday!
