The 2019 Sony World Photography Awards have just released a handful of the top amateur entries for their Open competition, and if the quality and sheer drama of these shots are any indication, then we can’t wait to see the winners. From a haunting scene of icebergs trapped in frozen water to a diver taking the plunge next to an architectural icon, they’ll take your breath away. The winning entries are set to be exhibited between April 18 -May 6, 2019 at Somerset House in London — here’s a teaser, starting with Sharks Head, Slovenia above.
